A graduate of the State
University of New York at Buffalo, Michael
Laucella, M.D. attended The University of Chicago Pritzker School
of Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree in
1980. Dr. Laucella completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the
Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago,
IL and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Tufts-New
England Medical Center in Boston, MA. While at
Tufts-New England Medical Center, he completed a fellowship
in Neuroradiology. Dr. Laucella is board
certified by the American Board of Radiology and has a Certificate
of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology.
Dr. Laucella is on the Attending Staff in the Department
of Radiology at Huntington Hospital, Huntington, NY.
In addition to his clinical appointments, Dr.
Laucella maintains memberships in several professional societies,
including:
- American Society of Neuroradiology
- American College of Radiology
- American Medical Association
- Long Island Radiological Society
- Medical Society State of New York
- Suffolk County Medical Society
