A graduate of Amherst
College, Douglas Cole, M.D. obtained
his bachelor's degree cum laude. He attended Yale Medical
School where he earned his Doct or of Medicine Degree
in 1972. Dr.
Cole completed a 6 month
internship, in Internal Medicine at Waterbury Hospital,
a Yale-affiliated institution. He
then completed 2 years of a surgical internship and residency
at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals in Cleveland,
OH prior to serving in the National Health Service Corps.
Dr Cole completed his training in Diagnostic
Radiology at Tufts-New England Medical Center and the
Boston VA Hospital. In 1983, Dr. Cole completed
a post-graduate fellowship in Computed Tomography & Ultrasound
also at the Boston VA Hospital, and the following year
he completed a fellowship in Computed Tomography & Nuclear
Medicine at Tufts New England Medical Center.
Dr. Cole is board
certified by the American Board
of Radiology and is a Diplomate of the National Board
of Medical Examiners.
