At Medical Arts Radiology, we recognize that women have unique health care concerns. Accredited by the American College of Radiology, our Women's Imaging Centers combine our imaging expertise with a patient-centered approach to care. We understand the anxieties that mammography and other tests can create. With this in mind, most patients have the convenience of same day follow-up and results for breast exams. Outpatient Image-Guided Biopsy.
When patients require an image-guided biopsy, they can have confidence in the skill and experience of Medical Arts Radiology. An exceptional team led by interventional radiologists and other specialists perform biopsies of the breast and other body parts, including chest, abdomen, lymph nodes, thyroid and skeleton. These minimally invasive procedures are guided by ultrasound, CT, MRI or stereotactic modalities and are routinely performed on an outpatient basis.
High-definition images. Low radiation dose.
All radiology exams are performed with the lowest radiation dose possible to achieve a diagnosis. Medical Arts CT scans use advanced radiation reducing technology, dramatically cutting radiation exposure while giving extraordinary high-definition images to make a confident diagnosis. We participate in the American College of Radiology “Image Gently” campaign, whose goal is to ensure patients receive only the necessary amount of radiation to achieve a quality image.
Physicians have access to their patient’s reports and images – anytime, anywhere.
The most advanced picture archiving and communications system (PACS) is available to physicians at Medical Arts Radiology. This system uses a “thin client” server for quick transmission of diagnostic images throughout our network of six diagnostic imaging centers. Radiologists at all sites can consult with each other in real time. Referring physicians can view their patient’s studies with the same functionality as the radiologist performing and interpreting the exam. This breakthrough in technology enables the ultimate in collaboration between radiologists and referring clinicians. The final result is a more confident diagnosis and better patient care.
Accredited by the American College of Radiology.
Medical Arts Radiology is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound, MRI, and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy. The American College of Radiology (ACR) is a national organization with programs devoted to making imaging safe, effective and accessible to those who need it. Accreditation is awarded following an in-depth review of facilities, equipment and staff qualifications by an ACR panel consisting of board certified physicians and medical physicists. Our patients expect the highest quality of care and customer service, and ACR accreditation is a testament to the commitment of our staff to meeting and exceeding these nationally accepted standards.
