Specializing in breast imaging including diagnostic and screening mammography, MRI, CT, and ultrasonography, Dr. Rita Bukhman is a board-certified radiologist. Dr. Bukhman received her medical degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook. Also in New York, she completed her internship at State Island University and her residency at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center. Her fellowship was done at Duke University Medical Center in 2009.

Having been board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Bukhman is dedicated to the advancement of radiology and its role in women’s health. As founder of the Epsilon Sigma Phi sorority, she served as the first president and events coordinator. She was in numerous honor societies and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Stony Brook University.

Dr. Bukhman’s research has been published in the Department of Radiology Publication at Duke University Medical Center. She maintains memberships in numerous professional societies, including:
