Medical Arts Radiology

For Physicians

For more than 70 years, Long Island physicians have been trusting Medical Arts Radiology for diagnostic imaging services. We take pride in the relationships we develop with referring physicians by providing high-definition images using a low-radiation dose, directly collaborating with referring physicians to improve diagnoses and patient care. We offer outpatient radiology services in 8 convenient imaging centers, all of which are accredited by the American College of Radiology.

Why Refer to Medical Arts Radiology?

Medical Arts Radiology’s physician portal provides you and your staff with fast and easy online access to patient reports and images, anytime, anywhere. Our radiologists believe strongly that collaboration with our clinical colleagues leads to optimized patient care and better outcomes. To improve communication with referring physicians, we offer virtual “live consults.” Through these screen-sharing sessions, our radiologists share compelling images to help clinicians better understand their patient's condition and diagnosis.

High-definition images, low-radiation dose
We participate in the American College of Radiology “Image Gently” campaign, whose goal is to ensure patients receive only the necessary amount of radiation to achieve a quality image.

MAR is accredited by the American College of Radiology
Medical Arts Radiology is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound, MRI, and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy. Our patients expect the highest quality of care and customer service, and ACR accreditation is a testament to the commitment of our staff to meeting and exceeding these nationally accepted standards.

Physicians have access to their patient’s reports and images – anytime, anywhere
The most advanced picture archiving and communications system (PACS) is available to physicians at Medical Arts Radiology. Radiologists at all sites can consult with each other in real time. Referring physicians can view their patients’ studies with the same functionality as the radiologist performing and interpreting the exam.

This breakthrough in technology enables the ultimate in collaboration between radiologists and referring clinicians. The final result is a more confident diagnosis and better patient care.
